The "Searle In America" auction is on its way! The funds raised will be put into bringing forth a first-time-ever exhibit on the West Coast (San Francisco) on the work of the late and great cartoonist/illustrator, Ronald Searle.

A huge shout out to the mighty Matt Jones for leading this project. A lot of other more superiorly talented artists in the field of animation, comics, and illustration joined in on the fun too! For more info and even more awesome art, visit the dedicated blog here.

Here is my contribution. A no-prize goes to the first person who can identify the title reference. ;)

Monsters University

Finally, a post dedicated to my second feature film project at Pixar. If you haven't already seen the film, go out to your nearest theater and do so! I was lucky enough to get a handful of painting assignments on some of the sets and characters in the film (although some didn't make it - namely, Sludge Falls Elem. and the Quad Bridge). All of these pieces are digitally painted over drawings and sculpts masterfully crafted by the artists credited below. And if you're a fellow ShrunkenHeadMan, you might want to pay closer attention to the first couple of paintings for a little shoutout! :) All artwork copyright by Disney/Pixar.

"Analogue" Prints

Since posting my "Analogue" illustration, I've had a lot of people ask me on how they can get a hold of prints. I thought about it, and figured - why not?! Ask and you shall receive! If you haven't noticed, I now have an online shop link added to the sidebar. Digital prints of my original pencil drawing is now available for purchase online via the Gradate online store.

Each print is hand-signed, sealed in a clear bag with a backing board...
...and mailed in a stiff envelope, shipped via USPS First Class mail.
(Shoutout to this lucky guy for being my first customer! You rock!)
International orders welcome!
